https://www.reddit.com/JohnMayecomments/7vlgiv/john_mayer_best_of_tsfe_tour_live_album_project/ While nearing the end of the listening process I started to go through the shows that were unavailable on archive.org. After a long and hard search for different websites besides archive that I could use to get access to these concerts, I found about 4 more that I didn’t have before. After that, I have only 30/55 shows available to me, and I have 12 left to listen to out of those 30.
Here’s a list of the MISSING shows that I am yet to have found:
April 6 @ Verizon Center, April 7 @ Wells Fargo Center, April 17 @ Rogers Place, April 21 @ The Forum, April 22 @ T-Mobile Arena, May 5 @ Jyske Bank Boxen, May 7 @ Ericsson Globe, May 9 @ Royal Arena, July 18 @ Isleta Amphitheater, July 19 @ Pepsi Center, July 21 @ Gorge Amphitheatre, July 22 @ Moda Center, July 29 @ Shoreline Amphitheatre, July 30 @ The Forum, August 1 @ Talking Stick Resort Arena, August 3 @ AT&T Center, August 5 @ American Airlines Center, August 9 @ Smoothie King Center, August 12 @ BB&T Center, August 25 @ Jiffy Lube Live, August 26 @ Riverbend Music Center, August 27 @ Darien Lake Amphitheater, August 29 @ Budweiser Stage, September 1 @ DTE Energy Music Theatre, September 2 @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre
If any of you (or someone you know) went to any of these shows and recorded them, but have yet to edit or upload them anywhere online, PLEASE let me know. Also, if there are shows on this list that you KNOW are online somewhere and I just missed them, feel free to link them in the comments. I want to get as many shows from the tour as possible, otherwise I might as well call this project “The Best of Half of Mayer’s Tour Last Year”.
While I finish listening to the shows I have, it would be AWESOME to get some help in looking for the lost shows (searching for everything haha…No?) If you find any, go ahead and link me to them here or via private message. I don’t want to fall back on Youtube for these, as 95% of them are recorded with an iPhone and pick up the fans more than the music. I want recordings that use a proper microphone and don’t pick up all of the excess noise. I want the raw versions of the songs to be as good of quality as possible. The goal is to have the final product sound as clean and as close to WTLI or AGT as possible. I am already in contact with the people who can help me make that happen, so THANK YOU!
Okay, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, here’s where we’re at on songs. As of now, I have THREE albums set to release. Album 1 is the Average Setlist Album with the following songs in this order:
Full Band: Helpless, Moving On and Getting Over, Changing, Love On The Weekend, Who Says, Acoustic: Daughters, Your Body Is A Wonderland, Free Fallin’, JM3: Crossroads, Who Did You Think I Was, Vultures, Full Band Reprise: Queen of California, Rosie, Why Georgia, In the Blood, Slow Dancing In A Burning Room, Encore: Waiting On The World To Change, Gravity, Epilogue: You’re Gonna Live Forever In Me
Album 2 is the Secondary Setlist Album of songs that he played second most. I changed a few songs around in this one:
Full Band: Belief, I Don’t Trust Myself (with Loving You), Edge of Desire, Something Like Olivia, Georgia/No Such Thing/Georgia, Acoustic: Emoji of A Wave, In Your Atmosphere, Neon, JM3: Wait Until Tomorrow, Bold As Love, Ain’t No Sunshine, Full Band Reprise: Still Feel Like Your Man, If I Ever Get Around to Living, Stop This Train, Born And Raised, Dear Marie, Bonus Tracks: Covered In Rain, XO, Passionfruit
Album 3, the newly added album, contains songs that he played less often, or even just once. It is still in the format of Full Band, Acoustic, JM3, but those are the only three chapters:
Full Band: Wildfire, In Repair, The Heart of Life, Stitched Up, I’m Gonna Find Another You, Acoustic: 83/Back to You, Victoria, Dreaming/Walt Grace, JM3: Johnny B. Goode, I Got A Woman
I can already see hear the requests of Simple Song and some others…and I can’t get those songs as of now because the shows that John played them at might not have been recorded, unless someone just hasn’t posted it. Find the missing shows and I’ll make sure to give fair listens to each of your requests. As for requests btw, KEEP MAKING THEM! I LOVE listening to your guys suggestions first!
For the last thing, probably the most exciting thing, I designed an album cover for the official release…
https://imgur.com/pFQUQwr It’s quite simple, I know. But I am actually really liking the plain white and the cheeky Colombia logo on the top left. Feel free to design your own album covers, and I will choose which one I like best if they are clearly better than what took me less than a few minutes in Photoshop to create. If you can get the outline font that looks like this:
https://imgur.com/oDAwNBh that would be super dope. Make it your own. Try to keep with the colors of the original Search for Everything album.
That’s pretty much it for now…got tmrw off of school to have a massive listening session. Thanks for hangin’ in there and waiting patiently for what should be an AMAZING final product! Hope we can link this whole process to John and maybe get him to see it when it’s done!

Yet another WASD CODE 104-Key (MX Clear) [Review]
For some time I've been using a Corsair K70 (Red) at home and have loved the experience. At work I was considering bringing it as I have been moved from a field to a desk position. However, the outlandish design is likely to catch the eye of student custodians and could possibly come up "missing." As such I checked my Credit, browsed through reviews, and promptly decided on searching for an MX Clear board.
First Impression
The CODE, as it comes, seems vanilla with an all-black "generic" style that one would tire of after slaving away for 40 hours each week at work. There are no special key engravings, not even a logo imprint anywhere on the front! For those who are looking for a "WOW!" style. . . well, this obviously isn't it. However, for the stealthy injection of a mechanical keyboard in the office it is a perfect choice.
The first thing you notice when removing it from the box is that it can be used in emergencies to pry open an elevator door or knock out an intruder and then plugged back in to return to your work. I'm dead serious, this sucker is heavy. The extra weight and grippy pads on the bottom ensure that the board won't run away from you while you're furiously banging out 300 words per minute. This doesn't mean that you can't move it when necessary though, so don't worry if you frequently find yourself rearranging your desktop.
The keys are very smooth and the text on each is crisp and clear. What you may notice first about them is how the numeric row is all in-line, meaning that each number and its associated SHIFT-press symbol stack up right next to each other. The design is very, very curious given that modern keyboards will have the numeric values as the primary focus with the secondary symbols above them, making it easier to search for your dollar sign and ampersand. Some people may not like this diversion from the modern layout but I find no difficulty searching for numbers and/or symbols.
Setting up
The CODE is very minimalistic but also very considerate about personal preferences. It is connected via removable micro-USB on the backside where you will find a number of ways to route your cable. If you're very concerned about cable management for keeping a clear station then you will find this to be very, very desirable. You have the option of straight out the back, direct left, direct right, angled left, and angled right (angled being about an inch from the far side and then protruding from the back). Whichever you may choose, do take heed that the included cable is thicker than your traditional USB cable but it is not braided. For those who desire a more durable cable will have to find one elsewhere. Personally I do not mind it as it keeps true to the discreet design.
The dipswitches are located on the back with a large number of choices to change layout and operation. For the time being I have it set to Mac mode and enabled the option to cycle the backlighting. The switches have only a short stub to move and seem slightly stiff but the design of it means that you won't worry about some foreign object sneaking underneath and flipping a switch when you relocate the board.
In order to change the brightness and status of the backlighting you have to first change a switch on the back and re-plug in your keyboard. You have plenty of brightness levels at your disposal should you prefer a minimal or maximum "shine."
The keys have some flaws though: the backlighting produces a black hue to the right-most side of the text. Most users won't notice it but the keen eye will pick it up. As the LEDs are set to a higher brightness this hue will fade and the color throughout will be uniform. On the lower settings though you will see how it kind of casts a "shadow" on the right side, indication a flaw in the key manufacturing. If you plan on replacing keycaps then this won't be of any concern to you. The LEDs are not to blame here.
This keyboard is purely plug-'n-play, right out of the box. No need to install annoying software coughRazercough
The feel
Since this is my first experience with Clear switches I must say that the feel of each press is amazing. The Reds provide no feedback other than bottoming out. While I do enjoy the ability to feather-type on my Corsair, the response from each keypress is fantastic. Each press confirms that I have hit my key and from what I have seen so far it has reduced the number of accidental presses. I know exactly when I hit, whether it registered, and it's purely from feel and not sound. The board does give a slight metallic reverb from keys being pressed (the spacebar being the most noticeable) but having tested out Blue MX o-rings on my bottom row ('Z' thru ',') the reverb fades. Even without the rings your cubicle neighbors won't be ripping out their hair from the sound. It's still very quiet overall.
When removing some of the keys to put the o-rings on I accidentally flipped my spacebar when putting it back on. For ten minutes I could not understand why it was getting stuck when pressed. Upon the thought of flipping it all my woes went away. I cannot say that I like the feel of the spacebar though on my thumb. I would recommend flipping it should you find a way to do so without impacting the performance of it. EDIT: Upon some experimentation I decided to look further into flipping the spacebar. The stabilizer hooks into two plastic rings on the spacebar key. If you notice, there is an octagonal design to the clear plastic ring where it sits on the stem from the key body. By carefully using needle-nose pliers I was able to lift them up and out with leverage. I then rotate the rings and replaced the spacebar. The change is much, much better.
I am very impressed with the legs of the keyboard. They're very durable and not too tall. You may want to invest in a wrist-rest though given how high up this thing sits on its own, but after three hours of continuous use I have not yet had any discomfort.
The Verdict (aka TL;DR)
The CODE is a very subtle and impressive board with how similar it looks compared to your generic workspace keyboard and yet delivers the full experience of a mechanical keyboard. For those that need to bring one to work and worry about a co-worker "borrowing" yours then this is a great option. I would still recommend it for use at home, even if you're looking for that "badass" keyboard to fit in with your gaming setup.
The Good
- Heavy; grippy
- Run your cable however you want
- Great backlighting levels
- Sleek and stealthy design, like James Bond at a Casino
- Impressive MX Clear feel
- Quiet and powerful
- Ctrl, Alt, and Command keys are uniform in size: Mac and PC users rejoice!
- Media keys are a dipswitch option, the media keys are front-print
- The NumLock, CapsLock, and ScrollLock LEDs are visible at all angles without vexing the corner of your sight
- The font is semi-bold but not generic
- Has a Function key that can be enabled if desired
- Legs are very durable
- Print on the backside is minimalistic and concise
The Bad
- USB cable is thick but not braided
- Spacebar hits right at my thumb jointsheds tear
Spacebar doesn't seem capable of "flipping" EDIT: You can and should flip the spacebar. It feels a litle awkward after doing so but it's much better than it hitting your joint.
- Possibly too "vanilla"
- Some keys might be squeaky
- $150
- Front-side key print is not lit
- Some may find the lack of "Shift" "Caps Lock" "Enter" and "Tab" to be strange
- Key removal is a little stiff compared to my K70
The Ugly
- In-line text on numeric row and other symbol keys
- Backlighting shadow in keys
- The Caps and Shift key symbols are almost identical (confusing for chicken-peckers)
Per-user
- No alternate text on numpad; numbers only
- Windows/Command keys have no print of any sort
- The keys seem prone to wear from extended use and oils from the hands
- No wristpad
Appendix
Sorry, no included photos nor video review! I can add some if requested but I'm currently taking a break from a computer science assignment.
The keyboard comes with the USB cable, a key removal tool, and a USB-to-PS/2 adapter.
For more information from the seller, you may find it here. I purchased this via Amazon for roughly $150.
